What We Do
Physical Therapy addresses the musculoskeletal (bones, muscles, tendons, joints, ligaments) and neurological systems to reduce pain and restore function. Correcting movement patterns and postures that perpetuate pain, modifying sport technique, and teaching ways to relieve pain at home are just some of the techniques we utilize. By attending physical therapy, you are making the conscious effort to take control of your symptoms.
At Stuart Jones Physical Therapy, we welcome pre and post orthopedic operative rehab, pre and post total joint replacements, post spine surgery rehab, Labor and Industries or work related injuries, sports injuries, return to sport rehab, MVA injuries, neck and back injuries, posture and body mechanics training, and balance/gait difficulties. Our staff is trained to perform a thorough evaluation and design a patient specific program for each individual to achieve the best outcomes as possible. We believe that success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out. This success is dependent on good communication between the PT, PTA and the client. It is very important for the patient to be involved in their treatment which may include working on a home exercise program, making appropriate adaptations at home, pain control and self treatment techniques as taught by the therapist.
